Get Snatched - Lose 3 Inches of Waistline
No dieting, no exercise, eat whatever you want, whenever you want, as much as you want!
So, I bought these two rubber handheld massage gizmos (see photo) called B & B or Beautiful Body. All over Instagram, you see these posts and they’re so alluring. There’s an Asian woman lying in her bed. She slips her fingers inside the band and just massages her waistline from the back to the front. And you can see that it looks easy. She has some oil on her torso so the rubber “teeth” glide easily. Then she does a rub from under the breast all the way down to her lower pelvis.
And the thing about this great idea which is in all of the Ads and Instagram posts is you do it first thing in the morning before you get out of bed; it’s implied that some kind of magic happens because you haven’t eaten or had anything to drink and your stomach is empty and so therefore by massaging it in the specific way you are going to lose three inches in 14 days!!
So, of course, I bought it because I told myself that since I am in the exercise and diet biz—aka “wellness”-- I have to see what people are selling. And it’s unbelievable the claims that companies are making.
So they arrive and I do it and it’s not hard. You’re in bed and you pull up your pajama top or whatever you’re wearing and you do this little massage and it feels good.
But then I saw another post which talked about doing it at night! That was for me a red flag because it seemed like the “magic” was because you had nothing in your stomach so doing this massaging would de-bloat your abdomen causing your waistline to become smaller. But after two weeks of doing this routine and then seeing the night time post, I decided to measure with the tape they included. The result is I am 25 inches. I haven’t seen that number for a while. I’m actually 28 inches. So I measure again with MY own tape measure and there I was: 28 inches . Oh boy, I’d love to be 25.
But anyway, I then really examined the tape measure that came with the magic massagers and saw, of course, that they had reduced each inch a bit. The photo shows it. You can very quickly lose 3inches using a fake tape measure just like the fake BMI that tells you if you’re 5’6 and you weigh 185 you’re not obese. It’s called “grading on a curve.” Prior to 1985 when the BMI was manipulated, we all used the HAMWI so at 161 you are obese and no one likes that .
Of course, none of that means anything anymore because it’s clearly waistline and that’s what happened when the American Heart Association a couple of weeks ago published the results of a study where they did use waistline and other markers and they came out with a terrible number: 70% of Americans are obese and that’s a long way from 40%. So, the media is grappling with what are they going to do? They can’t just switch. They constantly publish that it’s 40%.
Right now everyone in this wellie wellness business knows they can say or do anything and maybe they’ll sucker some buyers. The biggest scam is the pink salt diet. They’ve even done AI with Oprah who is saying that she loves this pink salt deal. And you lose so much weight so fast that your clothes are going to fall off your body! You’re going to lose weight too quickly. That’s what it’s saying. And all the ingredients are right in your kitchen. Eventually after watching an almost endless video, you find out that you need a bottle of pills for $60 even though MOST of the ingredients are on your shelf. I have been in this diet and exercise business for 40 years and what I see now is bad. I’ve never seen such fraud.
I’ve taken all these quizzes on every diet site and put in very different information as far as my age and my weight and my height and my exercising and what I eat, and I always get the same result: I’m going to lose two pounds a week. . And that’s because they can’t legally promise anymore. And even that comes with all these caveats. But now you see you’re going to lose 20 lbs in a week or you’re going to massage your waistline and lie there in the morning in your bed and it’s not going to be hard and you’ll lose 3 inches on your waist if you use their tape measure.
President Trump negotiated last week with Eli Lilly and Nova Nordisk very cheap prices for these GLP-1 drugs which will be in pill form and apparently they work even better and faster and fewer side effects. So now the social media and Advertising for diet and exercise solutions will get even crazier --until they totally disappear.
