Diabetes Can Help the Democrats Defeat Trump
Do you know these names? Jardiance, Trulicity, Toujeo, Victoza, Humalog, Metformin. Of course, you do! Someone you know is taking one of these drugs. They are advertised nonstop on TV too. MSNBC is fueled by Big Pharma’s diabetes commercials. Chris Hayes and Rachel Mattox and Lawrence O’Donnell avoid the obesity issue, however, because it is paying their salaries. But in five years 50% of American adults will be sick from just this one disease. How is this possible?
Statistics are confusing. The 2015 stats from the CDC report 84 million Americans are pre-diabetic and 29.1 million already diabetic. Pre-D is serious: 70% will get the Big D. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3891203/
Fast forward and now we have 35 million with diabetes because 1.5 million new cases develop annually. Obesity is growing. https://www.cancer.org/latest-news/obesity-rates-continue-to-rise-among-adults-in-the-us.html
The question is how is this possible when supposedly only 36% are obese. https://www.stateofobesity.org/adult-obesity/
Actually, obesity is at 50% but this is never the figure quoted because obesity is so un PC that even the CDC is grading on a curve. All the stats are based on a faulty BMI. A 5’6” woman at 185 pounds has a BMI of 29.9 so she is NOT obese. She is just “overweight.” And pre-diabetic.
We read statistics, but we don’t analyze them. Remember the 2008 Recession when unemployment was 10%? We were told this was NOT a Depression because in 1933 the figure was 25%. But in 1933 only the male population had paid jobs. So 25% of 50% = 12.5%.
The photos below were taken in NYC and everyone pictured is obese and will stay that way because losing is out of favor. Even Oprah can’t get people to buy WW. https://www.barrons.com/articles/whats-eating-weight-watchers-stock-its-not-just-the-keto-craze-51551486311

Why are we giving up? Body Positivity joined forces with Me-Too# and buried the size issue. It’s ok for women to be fat because being slim was forced upon them. Size acceptance is mandatory. That’s why every TV show or commercial has at least one fat person. If a fat person is on TV, then it’s ok to be fat.
We have a new vocabulary to go with our sized-up bodies. Dieting is gone and “Healthy” and “Wellness” are in. Everywhere there is the obligatory Wellness bulletin which everyone knows is just chatter. The photo of one weak cup of coffee with seven sugars was served to the author at a major NYC hospital while she was a patient. Wellness Announcements were plastered on every bulletin board in said hospital.

Now, we’re all fat, we’re all equal, and we’re all soon to be covered by socialized medicine. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/medicare-for-all-advocates-get-their-first-hearing-on-capitol-hill/2019/04/30/1f639704-6a9b-11e9-a66d-a82d3f3d96d5_story.html?utm_term=.ded498d6b9b3&wpisrc=nl_most&wpmm=1
Next up is to get rid of the unfair Fat Tax. https://humanparts.medium.com/the-fat-tax-is-real-and-its-getting-worse-f46f7634b817
Did you know there is an Obesity Society? https://www.obesity.org/meetings-education/obesityweek/ Their purpose is to lobby so that obese people can receive disability payments.
Obesity is growing. Many Millennials have extra fat cells since their Mothers may have started pregnancy overweight or obese and then they continued to eat for two as they had all along. https://www.healthline.com/health-news/fat-mothers-fat-babies-researchers-say-yes-060915#1
Americans are no longer divided: liberals and conservatives, men and women, black and white are all in the same boat which is why new weight limits have been imposed by the Coast Guard. https://www.boatingmag.com/packing-on-pounds
But forget poundage. Look at the waistline: 35 inches is obese for females and 40 inches for males. THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION says so.
Too bad we mocked Japan when in 2008 they made waistline measurement mandatory. 33.5 inches for men and 35.4 inches for females is the maximum. Guess what?
The Japanese are not fat. https://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/13/world/asia/13fat.html
