Anna Wintour & Michelle Obama Gossip
I think I've cracked the code on why the media never asks me, “What’s your morning routine?” or “What do you eat to stay so... you?” They ask just about anyone with even a hint of celebrity—so I definitely qualify. But regardless, the critical factor is that you have to be totally UPTIGHT! And completely UNSEXY because we are all about health. This is serious business.
The Media needs content for the wellness space because, let’s face it, they’re desperate. They can’t just print the truth—admitting their role in the biggest (pun intended) health flop of all time—170 million of us waddling around obese. Nope, that would mean admitting their complicity. And admitting that none of the past 50 years of diet and exercise had anything to do with health and everything to do with vanity—and SEX.
Speaking of influential, healthy folks, the Met Gala just happened, so naturally, Anna Wintour is in the spotlight. As the editor-in-chief of Vogue and the chairwoman of this grand fashion spectacle, she's basically fashion royalty. I was at the Met Gala in 1965 when it was more of a party than an over-the-top pageant. Credit for the first Met Gala back in 1948 actually goes to publicist Eleanor Lambert who wanted to help American fashion when Paris was the only game.
Now, if you’ve seen The Devil Wears Prada, you know Wintour’s all about discipline—or as some might say, militant chic. Her diet reflects that vibe:
Breakfast:
A grande, extra-hot whole milk latte from Starbucks.
A blueberry muffin.
Lunch:
Historically, steak with a caprese salad (hold the tomatoes) from The Palm.
Lately, an almost-rare hamburger patty with a side of Robuchon mashed potatoes.
Dinner:
Grilled fish.
Pasta, preferably carbonara.
Coffee is her elixir of life, and alcohol? Please—no wine or beer. Though honestly, doesn’t that rare burger seem like it’s just begging for a cold Pilsner?
Here’s the kicker: Wintour lives in the culinary capital of the world—New York City. She has access to any cuisine, can walk into any restaurant, and her tab is never a worry. Plus, she's in Paris and Milan twice a year. Yet, everyone hails this regimented diet as some kind of genius because, you know, consistency.
Not everyone is a fan though:
"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines."
—Ralph Waldo Emerson"Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative."
—Oscar Wilde"Consistency is contrary to nature, contrary to life. The only completely consistent people are dead."
—Aldous Huxley
Another certified celebrity is Michelle Obama and her bedtime routine is in the news. Not what she eats because the media are 100% against “processed food” so they aren’t going to ask her about “healthy” eating. In 2008 when Mrs. Obama was a guest on The View, she announced, “We're bacon people.”
Michelle Obama recently discussed her bedtime habits during an appearance on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, released on March 20, 2025. She revealed that she prefers going to bed early, often right after dinner. She described the comfort of getting into cool sheets at night and admitted that she's eager to retire for the evening and her regular time is 8:00 PM!! She also said that her sexy husband is a “night owl.”
“Life is something to do when you can't get to sleep.”

P.S. If any Media person asks me, “What do I eat for breakfast,” I think I would say, “It’s none of your damn business.”
